Guy & Sinead
Guy and Sinead came to me with their own stones which they had acquired whilst on retreat in Sri Lanka. An orange sapphire and peridot were used for Sinead’s engagement ring, which was made in the style of my Manta Ray collection with 18ct white gold.
Guy’s wedding ring is also handmade in 18ct white gold and has Morse code and binary detailing which encrypts their initials, making them look like a message from another planet. The sci-fi element gave me the opportunity to really go wild with this commission!
Jem & Dave
Jem and Dave wanted me to create a pair of rings that would suit both their personalities and relationship.
Being an artist and cake designer for Choccywoccydoodah, Dave had already sketched some ideas and my job was to bring the final design to life, which was based around the Sacred Heart and traditional style of tattoo. We nailed it!
Nick & Lynn
Nick and Lynn came to see me on Valentine’s Day as they wanted to treat one another to some jewellery.
Nick explained that he had always wanted a handcuff bracelet like Keith Richards and asked if I could make him one.
Four weeks later they came to pick up their three rings and bracelet and were over the moon with the finished pieces!
It’s always nice to see a familiar face! This customer has been coming to me since he was a teenager. He now lives in Singapore but made special visits to order these rings.
The engagement ring, a piece from my Enchanted collection, is made in 18ct yellow gold. The couple wanted their wedding bands to match but preferred different metals.
By going with the same Chequered design, I was able to create two rings which were similar but also different; his being in platinum and a little wider to suit his hand with princess cut sapphires and diamonds which were set randomly into the square shapes, and hers in 18ct yellow gold set with white diamonds to match her solitaire.
